This is from a past post by username Lance:

There are actually 3 levels of audio for the SC class cars. The base model ( I believe it's just a AM/FM tape) is rated at 170 max watts, the "Lexus Premium" model (with the 12 CD changer) is a 210 watt system. The Nakamichi is a 280 watt BEAST.
There probably aren't any SC's with the 170 watt system, so the 210 watt Pioneer is probably standard to most. Sorry for the earlier confusion, I meant to say that the Pioneer is a 210 watt system...

Hope this helps.

Snowman (from Smokey and the Bandit?
), let me make a couple of slight corrections there. Standard was a 170-watt (max pwr) AM/FM/Cass 7-spkr. Option code DC cost $1050 and upgraded you to the 12-disc CD chgr and the Pioneer 210-watt (max pwr) system with 10-inch subwoofer. Lastly, option code NK was the Nakamichi Premium Sound 280-watt (max pwr) system, and required the 12-CD chgr, and also required leather on the SC300. Precise enough for ya?
