Need help.what's the best way
I bought a 93 Sc400 and the passenger side door won't open. From the outside and in.The window guide is bent a bit and the window doesn't stay up it slides down Also the door handle is broken from the inside and it's hard to push it to the unlock position.
I pulled on the release cable and the door opens. After trying to fix it I made it worse .Now it won't open at all.
I'm guessing I would need to replace the guide, regulator, door handle with new rod anything else?
Would it be cheaper and easier to buy another used door or buy the parts and install them.It looks really complicated to install all that. What would you guys suggest. Thanks!

You got yours self a pretty crappy situation.. I would just take it to a shop an have them tell you the easiest route due to the fact that 1. if anything where to go wrong you have someone to blame 2. Obviously your not to great with stuff like this since instead of fixing it you mad it worst 3. No scavenger hunts for sc in junk yards and bruised and cut up knuckles

OK I got the passenger side open and did a temp fix.I would still need to replace everything. The window guide is bent. The regulator wire is damaged, the spool and plastic pieces are broken. And the actuator doesn't work.
So I'm pretty sure I should just buy another complete door and it would be cheaper then buying everything individually. The window motor work as I hooked the cables to power and it turns on but I rather buy another one this one looks bad.
Also my driver side regulator is bad and the rod from the actuator is broken. Can I replace the rod or would I need to replace the whole actuator.
