Arrow Cluster factory standard

With the great help of OLT's blue ice thread and him answering my questions and doubts I was able to restore my cluster to factory standard.

My cluster didnt look like the before picture when I got the car, it had a few burned out bulbs here and there which I replaced, but this is the worst state I encountered and it wasnt because of burned out bulbs.

Just a few things that still bother me are
1) I got used to the brightness without the face so I'll use brighter bulbs
2) The GS needle that I used is a little different than the sc's, but I like it more. Who has another one?
3) That face needs polishing or better yet remove the tinted plastic.

So far so good since I took it out this afternoon, resistors and that black cylinder component I mentioned passed voltage testing today. Airbag came back on which I also thought was burned out. Trac is still acting bananas.

That cluster has Courtney Love size issues.

On a side note on my email it says 125 items beside your name. LMFAO.

Name of this thread should be changed to "clusters gone wild" lol

Today I read this post on LLS forums and fair enough they sent me a teaser preview of how my other cluster will look like when I get it back with the new 32's. Its safe to say I'm customer #1 for that matter

Now I had people tell me there are services on ebay that do it cheaper bla bla bla and when I looked the obvious spotting and poor intensity just made me laugh. THIS is what I call back lighting.

and this is how I feel like

I gotta say, out of the MANY problems with my SC...

my cluster still looks perfect after 140k.

Maybe my cluster is new and the car has 500k miles on it lol.

As much as I'd like to refurb my cluster, I think it's a lost cause since the gas needle doesn't like to go all the way to full. Everything I've read leads me to believe it is the gauge itself and not the sending unit. Between that and the tach & speedo that occasionally get stuck at zero, I'm probably better off with a different cluster - even if it needs new bulbs & pointers too.

Regular bulbs and needles are easy, they're about half an hour job if you know what you're doing. LED and SMD stuff you're better off sending to lextech. As for the gas needle motor IDK why it trips. In my other cluster it doesnt go up at all, just keeps sinking. Perhaps the motor goes bad or something as its different from the rest, it stays in place after you shut down the car.

Did your gas gauge have issues before you removed the cluster?

Yeah the gas needle motor on this one seemed to be broken when I got it from the yard. Now its working, just need to fix the needle position when I fill up tomorrow.
