Nice I have the IS-F version in my SC which I re-did in all black because part of the steering wheel was blue. I haven't hooked up the air bag & horn yet though...Any luck with the horn & airbag?

 

horn and airbag would be easy to wire

 

Just making sure because I cut the plugs off of my old steering wheel but I'll figure it out somehow

 

airbag i a separate yellow cable. About the horn it's easy to find the good pin, try grounding each one in the black plug on the clock spring to find it

i just check it for you, the horn is the last pin in opposite of the airbag plug

The IS wheel is nice because of the controls, but I like the wood steering wheels. They feel way nicer.

did you use the clock spring from the IS250 also to be-able to use the functions of the steering wheel buttons?

 

you use the clockspring of the wheel thats going on. what you change is the ignitor and sometimes the cruise lever will swap over to retain factory cruise. cruise might not swap over on these newer ones though.

 

Is that steering wheel, by any chance "smaller" than the OEM SC400 steering wheel?
