Default Potential sc300 project

So I sold my a4 and got my tax money and decided I want a Lexus SC. I found a 94 sc300 rhd converted with a stock 2jz-ge rebuilt and will idle but has low fuel pressure so it will need to be towed but those are the only issues. He is asking $2600 obo. I don't really know anything about any 2jz motor or rhd conversions. Im Just looking for opinions on starting this project.

Offer him $2200. What proof does he have of the motor being rebuilt. I'd check in the engine bay to see where it was welded. If it wasn't done on a jig, it's not straight. Take it to a body shop and have them put it on their frame machine for alignment.

that car is ready for the scrap yard ,,,, hes butchered it completely and you will be inheriting all his problems.

I seriously dont think id pay $500.00 for it.

Run away from that thing and dont look back, you will thank me later on I assure you.
