Default Instrument panel

How do I take out the instrument panel, so that I can replace it with another one.

Thanks

Tilt the steering wheel all the way down.
Pull off the black trim.
You will see two screws on either side of the cluster, near the back. Then there are two screws on the top of the cluster, hidden by two black plastic caps.

Once you remove all 4 screws, pull the cluster out and remove the 3 connectors behind the cluster.

What kind of instrument panel are you putting on? Just a new one or a secret aftermarket one?

I think the 95 panel might be different from the 92 - I know the early cars don't have outside temp display, and I think it was added by '95 - even if the plugs are the same, the pinouts may be different - then there's the odometer - I would think twice about just swapping out the panel - do you have a repair manual?

The lights on my 92 panel were burned out I got the 95 panel for about 100 bucks so I will see what happens in the morning. The guy at the salvage yard said that I could return it if it didn't work. Thanks for your advice.
