Is this the craiglist ad from Daly City? Ive been also been searching for a 5Spd in the bay area but ill i find is 92-93's with 190,xxx miles for around the 4k price range. I recently checked out this one:

However when I saw it in person it looked abused, major fender damage and door damage, rust, seemed to run fine, burnt cluster (no lights at all) and he asked for 3300. 197k Miles. I passed on it.
I planned to check out the one your are going to buy but if you get it congratulations!
Edit: The sc you are going to be used to be on rota roques and coils, maybe if you contact him he can sell you those for cheap!

so before i even headed out to check out the original 5speed, he calls me and says he thinks the alternator is dead, when he jumped the car and took the cables off, it would just die...
idk how he knows the engine is running strong with no leaks if it cant even idle :l

However he does not have stock body parts so I passed on that one but it seems pretty good if you wanted a vertex kit.

$3300..... Sounds more like a 2000ish car to me with many problems. One thing I learned on buying my 2nd SC, is that the extra money you spend on a nice one, will leave you much happier.

i just copped the one i was originally looking at with 197k miles, i regret nothing...yet.
needs alternator, but thats no big deal, cant wait for monday to come!
