i remember there was a company that custom made sets but it was like $1000 for a pair i believe.

 

I saw clear corners make some, but I don't think I like those. The taillights being majority of red is nicer

Did you basically get some LED boards and fit them in after you take off the lens? Really interested in this, I think 97 tails could use more style like yours

 

you can use led boards or led strips. i opted to use led strips. you can diy for $200-300 in parts. i think thats about what i spent + new tail lights. the hardest part is taking apart the passenger side lens without breaking the key hole.

 

Yeah... I do LED tails and the 97s are a *****! I made some really baller ones a few years back and sold them for about what I paid to make them plus the lights. If theres interest I can make another pair. Im debating on making a set for my drift car. I was going to start a business like clear corners but cheaper but there wasnt enough interest out here in Vegas.
