Ive been looking for a complete black interior set for my 92 sc300 for a very long time. Being in Hawaii doesn't help either because shipping is soooo expensive. Anyways, today I find a 1996 sc300 for parts. I go to check it out and first thing I notice is that the interior is black and is near excellent condition. At this point, Im pretty much sold on buying the car for parts, just for the interior. I start talking to the guy and he says it just stopped running and doesnt start. I still dont care about the engine or anything else.....lol. I ask him what he wants for the whole car and he says if I can tow it away, I can have it for $1000. I jump on the offer and buy it on the spot. I tow it home and realize the fuel pump ecu is bad so I hardwire the fuel pump and what do you know? Starts right up and runs perfect! The ac is super cold and besides faded paint, the body is in good condition.

I stripped the said car of the black interior and then stripped my sc300 of the tan interior and did a complete interior swap. Took near 6 hours but it was well worth it. My car looks a million times better with black clean interior. Words cannot express how stoked I am. My younger brother ended up scoring because I sold him the car for $500, lol. He stoked, Im stoked....all is well. Here are some pics of the parts car, exterior pics tomorrow when the sun comes up.

OH i want to cut my vains, another $1000 deal, I have guy, who I bought sc parts, he bought a fc with a bad 1jz head gasket and a SOARER tranny for $1000 haaaaaa.

 

Forgot to do headliner ehh! If you were closer I would hook ya up with my black sued headliner. I can't use since I have a sick top now. Nice score though bro!

Thanks for the positve posts people. I guess I just got lucky. I can't call the previous owner stupid....he just didn't know and I can't blame him.

The car is now my brothers. He is young (20) and could care less about what interior is in the car, lol. All he knows is that he has a good running car and it has AC and it has the potential to look like mine, haha.

The headliner would have been swapped, but my car has sun roof and the parts car was a hard top. Im actually kind of happy I didn't have to do it....Ive never done a headliner swap and it looked kinda tedious.
