i dont think it looks bad, i'd hardly say it looks ghetto. those Big Win and Fujin Lips are stupid expensive. i'd rather go lipless than pay 500 bux for a stinkin lip u still gotta paint and hope u dont knock it off when u hit road debris when driving innocently.

I'll agree with the comment about the price, but this will never compare when parked next to
another SC with a big win/fujin lip. But if the owner is happy with a $8 piece of rubber mounted with
double sided tape, then so be it. Unfortunately no one makes an affordable $300 or less lip for
the 97 bumpers unless you DIY something.
I appreciate the OP being creative. You have a nice wheel set up btw.

I agree that the home depot lip doesn't look as good but it sure did a fantastic job at protecting my nice (and expensive) 97 front bumper. I scraped the **** out of my home depot lip over the winter but since it was only a $10 piece of plastic, I wasn't uspset at all. I would have been furious if I was scraping the **** out of a $300 big win or fujin lip.
sc400 lip modded into 97 lip looks ****ing amazing to me. not that expensive since you can get a mangled one also since youre cutting it in half also.
not my thing but still nice enough turn out on the HDL
I agree, the 400 lip on the 97 bumper looks really nice, if done correctly.

Then raise your car, no one is telling you to lower it. Its the price to pay being low. + you probably have enough clearance with the lip anyways.
I get tired of people thinking things only look good if you payed a lot of money for them. The lip looks good and for $8 you can't go wrong. Cut him some slack. What brand did you buy?
