You guys do know that you can just use the cruise control switch from a 98-00 Rav4. The steering wheel is identical to the is300 but the cruise control is the the same as the SC's.

it's not identical. they are very similar though, and the airbags are interchangeable.

i think the is300 looks a little better.

Agreed, but I'm just talking about the cruise switch.

LOL - care to explain this one? How do you match up blue to blue if there only is one blue

Airbag____________Clock Spring

Yellow_________________Blue
Yellow_________________Yellow

I ended up getting to this point in my install and getting stumped. I pulled back the wire from the blue/yellow and lo and behold, it turned into 2 reds... Which led me to believe that it doesn't in fact matter which wire goes to which, otherwise they wouldn't have 2 of the same color wires.

I hooked mine back up and started it and took her for a drive... much better

I'm still debating whether or not I should do this. While I COMPLETELY agree that it looks amazing my black 4 spoke is in perfect condition. So, the only way I would consider swapping is if i could find a black 3 spoke out of a manual because I think the "Down" buttons look horrendous in the SC's. Just a matter of opinion.

Thanks guys. I shopped around on ebay and carparts.com and ended up getting them both for $150 shipped. For me, it's certainly worth $150. Install probably took 30 minutes, and that's only because I was trying to work out what to do about the yellow/blue wires.

I came to the same conclusion, since they made 2 wires the exact same color which they normally dont don't do I figured it meant that the polarity does not matter, so I also hooked mine up randomly and it seems to be fine.
