I have a factory 5 speed, the ECU has gone bad, I've heard that I can use an automatic ECU as a replacement. Will this leave me with the check engine light or any other problems? I have found a 93 GS300 ECU..have done some research and read that this should work alright but just looking for some more input. Thanks.

it will be. ok........... as lon as you are not using manual ECU into an Auto,,,

Wait, what? I've never heard that you could use an auto ECU in a manual car?
