these guys are a bit harsh at times but its just a bit hard to believe this.... try to get someone to drive behind you and record it... are you on stretched tires?

All jokes aside, Can you hav some one follow behind you and try it again? Maybe CL will be able to give you some more insight.

Yeah something definetly sounds wrong if your breaking the tires loose at 60..... my 350ish tq mustang wouldnt even break the tires loose at 60 with a solid axle.

First thing to do is check the obvious, your tires. check for even wear and obviously proper tire pressure. Next i would check into your alignment, as well as all your rear suspension parts i.e bushings, traction links etc

i run my air pressures at 40 psi which is 8 more then recommended, busings are needing to be replaced with the mileage thats on the car and from some of the sounds i hear I know it needs them ALL replaced also the rear struts are weak

You guys are funny... Don't worry bro, it'll get better... I think people just didn't quite understand what were you implying... I myself was confused so I didn't comment in the beginning... But yeah, tires pressure also contributes, and might as well tone it down, cause 40 is a lot, and it may cause blow out... But other than that, it might be bushings, the rear is notoriously hard to deal with because its a 5 link suspension, alignment can also controbute to this, but other than the suspension parts, the engine looses a lot of HP from the tranny being a 4 speed and an auto, so yeah, people would really say it's impossible from a stock 1UZ...

so did some thinking do you think with the sudden power transfer coming down the driveline and with the weak bushings and struts whats happening is the wheels actually bounce from the torque thrust and hence why i fish tail because they actually lose contact for that split second

My guess is the tires, i bet there is enough wear to get the rear to track! So when you mash the throttle you change the weight distribution, which is when you feel the tracking or "fish tail feeling". Im sorry but there is no way a stock, auto 1uz will transfer enough power to cause traction loss on the rear wheels.

Or your driveline is loose somewhere and is shifting under load...

I can't do this with my vvt-i 1uz. From a stop, yeah no problem, and If I gun it while turning the tires break loose easily, but 60mph in a straight line? I wish. Something must be up.
