It does, I want to connect the amp remote with a wire in the trunk area. I was trying not to have to connect the wire to my head unit remote. If I must, I will use the head unit remote.

Thanks,
GT

Like I showed you on the picture. The most left, lower wire is the remote on. I stripped the stock harness that's part of the amp. See the following the picture:

There are many options. You can also run a T-split off the "Accesory" (ignition) wire. that way the amp turns on when the car does (fyi this is the same wire that turns on the head unit). The remote is just a continuation curcuit off the headunit of the accesory power line. with a diode to bypass if it is not hooked up.

Why pull it all the way from there while the remote wire is right there in the back of your car. By getting rid of your stock amp you will have bunch of these wires just hanging there. I do not recommend trying to run the remote-on from the fuze.

Thanks Everyone,

I finally got the amp wired. I connected the remote wire to one of the wires that were connected to the factory amp.

Once everything was wired ok I then noticed that my air bag light came one. What should I do now?

I'm confused too. I have no idea why it would come on. Did you demage anything while installing the wire through the firewall?

The wire was already through the firewall. I had replaced my instrument panel a few days ago and everything went fine.(no air-bag lite) I rewired the car and installed the amp 2 days ago, then today, all I did was disconnect the battery and connected the remote wire, the I re-connected the battery and there was the air bag sensor lite.

That means you've reset the ECU. Not sure then, go to a place where they could read your computer and see kind of error it is.
