It was taken to a leather shop. The thigh panel and armrest were taken off replaced and dyed. Extra padding was added to the armrest so it will not ware out as fast.

Looks great for $150! Nice improvement and it still keeps that OEM feel.

Looks great man.

Ive been researching and digging lately and it seems that as long as u dont let your seats get too far gone they can be restored to near new conditon again at a fraction of the cost of a total leather replacement.

This guy did a good job on yours.

Was your steering wheel redone or dyed? Either way looks good also.

He said that the number one killer of leather is not giving it the ability to breathe!! I will be look for some JDM vent ASAP!

I told him to dye the air bag and he did the steering wheel as well it was starting to peel on the back side so he cleaned it and did the whole steering wheel. His was great and would highly recommend.

Finally someone else realized this is the best route to go besides me! Everything came out great tj4306! I too got my seats and steering wheel professioinally repaired from a guy in Tampa and it came out OEM. I did not want to lose the feel and look of the OEM leather plus spend all that money on aftermarket replacement leather that is not Lexus OEM quality. In the end it comes out less and you get an OEM.

Believe me don't worry about the steering wheel either....it won't wear off or anything. My stuff has been done for over 2 years and it stills looks like it did the day the guy repaired my seats and dyed my steering wheel. Everyone should honestly go this route if they want to keep their OEM leather and not go aftermarket.
