I'm dealing with the same issue right now personally, it works sometimes (but most of the time not) so I've got to tear down the center again to diagnose that part. If it was anything like my Up/Down motor it's either over torqued or dead motor. Mine when it works makes a slight woosh noise and barely goes in/out.

Pull the motor and check to see if it's bad, then test the switch itself.

Meron, can you give me a link to the DIY for the up and down fix? Mine will telescope, but not move up and down. I've been searching for it for about a half hour now, and no luck.

Make sure u have the right model selected. I had the same problem and ended up being a cheap and easy fix....broke about 6months ago and I haven't had any problems since.

Here is the link to fix the up and down motor https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ng-repair.html

im still not sure if the in and out feature is related to the same motor or if it's different

Is it making noise? I know there is a plastic gear in there that can get pretty chewed up

If the plastic gear is messed up, order another one from the dealer and put in a thick washer behind it first. This will help the plastic gear align with the motor and grooves better. make sure to apply better grease. Mo grease the better and the quieter it will be, GL!

On the in and out feature, not too much covered here on that particular item. I would check the motor under the steering and clean the parts with some carb cleaner and see if that helps.
