Exclamation Ac help pls.. its getting hot out side lol..

so i recharged my ac the other day ,it was blowing cold for a lil then it stopped and its blowing hot again.I took it over to my buddy and he says its a bad condenser,is there any way i could tell if it the condenser or just leaking some where eles i live in miami and summer time is coming again so i need ac lol any helpwould be much app it thks in advance Chad R H

did you put die in it.. thats where i would start. look for leaks.. die is pretty cheap.. and how did you charge it with one of those b/s cans from like pepboys...

Yea I did use,those little cans what would I wanna use? Also how would I know if its over charged ? And when would I know if its full?

A/C gauges..find out how much our cars take. I am new to SC's, but my STI took 1.25 pounds

if the condenser is leaking you can see oil at the leak area. Check condenser to see if any unusual damage

If you overcharge an A/C system one of the sensors will read high pressure and will turn the A/C off. This is why you have to have the exact amount your car takes. Your best bet is to find out how much the car needs, go to O'reillys buy refrigerant, fill to a little less than required, fill rest of the way to required amount with dye, then go from there searching for your leak using a UV light.
