DIY: Connecting the horn button on an aftermarket steering wheel
I initially went looking for some quick help on this, but after a couple of searches I noticed that there isn't much written on this topic. This is a very simple DIY, but it may appear to be overwhelming for some of you so that is why I am writing this up.
1. With the after-market steering wheel removed, you will see the "clockspring" (or whatever it's called). It has a yellow warning sticker on it. On this clockspring, you will see a terminal plug with a row of pins sticking out of it. You are going to want to attach a wire, using a terminal connector, to the RIGHT-MOST pin. A terminal connector can be found at radioshack.

I was lazy/cheap/nonchalant and ended up using a connector from a used up HID bulb I had kicking around the garage. I actually ended up removing that little yellow ring from around the HID plug. It slides right off.

Now, place your steering wheel back on, remembering to center it as needed, and feed the wire through a hole in the hub (hopefully you have a hole that you can pass a wire through... if not, then that's another issue and I can't help you).

Now connect the wire, using a butt/terminal connector, to the back of the horn button of your after-market steering wheel.

Now you are ready to honk away.
Because I did not mention this specifically in one of the steps, remember to put the 19mm bolt BACK onto your wheel to make sure it's secure!
