Default Need help removing engine wiring harness!!

I'm doing a starter replacement on a 92 sc400 and can't find a way to get the two bolts that hold the engine wiring harness to the right hand (passenger side) cylinder head. It looks impossible the way the have them recessed on the plastic piece with almost no room to the firewall. Anyone who has been down this road any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind of confused removing whole harness to do the starter? A couple swivels and extensions should do it.

I am more confused. Post up some pictures and then we could tell you more of the situation. Alot of crap has to come off the tope of the motor to even access the starter.

I've replaced mine before. There in no need to take the wire harness. You are just taking the entire intake manifold off. The starter sits under the manifold in between the banks. It's a PITA.

Thanks LIVauto. I didn't know why the harness had to come off the cylinder head. The harness doesn't get in the way of accessing the starter bolts? This was definitely not designed to be taken off. I can't wait to get to the starter bolts but they can't be much worse then these. I got a swivel ratchet set to try to attack the starter bolts. Will post results. Thanks again.
