im getting really bad gas mileage even with all the tune up stuff done.caps rotors etc.next step is to check the ecm if its fried but im having a hard time finding it.i took off the kick panel and the glove box but still no luck..any pics would be awesome..thanks

look under the carpet in the passenger side foot well thats where it is in mine under a thick piece of plastic

i just disassembled my ecu and it seems fine...was hoping something was wrong with this so i can get my gas mileage back...but oh well..guess ill have to look somewhere else...any suggestions?i already did a full tune up including one coil pack.previous owner hollowed out cats.still average around 10 mpg with a very light foot.i smell alot of gas too.maybe from the hollowed out cats?

sounds like its running rich if you have a strong gas smell.... does it seem faster than usual? could be your mafs has gone bad.
