Yes, i just had to deal with this. You are going to have to take the covers off to see what exactly is going on.

1. There are 2 screws at the bottom of the seat back. They are not visible unless you get on your knees with the door open and poke your head under. You will need a phillips screwdriver.

2. Then, once the screws are off, there are 2 clips, one on each side, that clip themselves into the side of the seat. You are going to need to "push" the seatback into the seat and then pull outward (to the side) with the other hand. Do this on both sides. The side closer to the middle of the car will be a little more difficult because the center console is in the way. But it is straightforward and easy enough.

3. Then, once the sides are loose, the only thing holding the seatback should be 2 very large clips towards the top of the seat. These are mounted internally and you cannot see or feel them unless the seatback is removed first. I suspect this is where your problem is. Just pull the seatback downward (towards the floor) and the seatback should come loose.

On my seatback, the top clips in step 3 basically came loose because the seatback material they were attached to was old and brittle.

REPAIR METHOD: Get yourself some epoxy from home hardware or walmart. What you are going to want to do is, epoxy the clip where it broke off and set it back into place onto the seatback as best as you can. THEN, use a liberal amount of epoxy (around half a combined tube) onto the clip and the seatback area around it. Don't worry about being messy because none of this will be seen once the seatback is remounted. Just be sure to watch it for the first 15 mins or so, because the clip is heavy and may fall out of place until the epoxy has a chane to harden a bit. Then, wait 24 hours till the epoxy completely sets, and remount the seatback.

Hope this helps!

You're welcome.

If you search, I think you will find a complicated way to fix the nets.
What I did: I just cut the string that runs across the top of the net, in half, at the middle. Then I pulled it tight and tied it together like a shoelace. I double-tied it. I actually like the way it looks with the knot!
