Default Fun on the Dragon (PICS)

I went with some friends to the Dragon in TN/NC this weekend and got to drive my SC a lil. It was a good time.

Not sure who's car, but he's from the CelicaSupra forums; it was VERY clean.

Dragon is a nice place to visit and to say I have been there, done that. Those were some real ggod shots, been better with a better camera.....lol

The red celica/supra reminds me of mine old car. Which was my first...

Thanks for sharing... Were those the only cars that went in your group?

You can find and buy photos of your car on the Dragon at www.Killboy.com. I don't know if you knew that?

the s2000s were clean; it was fun trying to keep up with them.
we did the cherohala, hellbender, the skyway... we went ALL around that mountain. great scenary and great weather this weekend. it threatened to rain friday, but that was about it. those were the only cars in the group I went with, but i just found out that some members of clublexus went together in the south east thread. i saw a few IS's up there and a ton of celica supras.
and thanks for the killboy link; i made sure to pass him several times :P i'm waiting for the pics to post.
thx ^_^

I've been wanting to get together with some more SCs for a Dragon/Skyway meet. I could probably set something up in my hometown at the bottom of the Skyway (Tellico Plains) for us to have a cookout or something

Very cool! I love thrashing around down there! I usually go to the Celica meet which was actually last weekend, but unfortunately I didn't make it this year. Beautiful part of the country and nice SC!

yea, the S2000s are pretty swift. they're made for the mountain it seems like. 1000s lbs lighter than the SC and they're pretty nimble. both the s2000s were running 255 tires. one had some very high quality tires (i think they ran him a G), so his grip was great.

i forgot the specs on my liquid metal rims, but they're 18s. the guy @ discount tire informed me they only have 1 left in a warehouse somewhere if i want to pick it up for a spare. they've been discontinued, but i got them some time last year.

@ triumph, i'd def be down for something like that in the future.

Cool. I'll talk to the local police and see if we can have a cookout in this big open parking lot most of the kids hang out in. I can source a grill, or two if we have enough people to need two. Or we can ditch the cookout idea and just slay the dragon. Should we go ahead and post a thread about it to see how much interest we can get?
