I hate the be the pessimist guys, but the deal closed last friday I believe, as when I talked to Eric yesterday he confirmed that it was....but who knows.....anything worth a shot, and if the two of you still want interiors, you might look for some others and try to get another buy going....the numbers we had will be hard to beat though....

To everyone who "got in" on the group buy, did any of you also receive some kind of confirmation from Leatherseats.com?

I believe it was mjames08 who said something about receiving something, an invoice? from them.

I believe that I ordered right after you Keith, and besides seeing that a check I sent to Eric was cashed (I spoke with Eric and told him to cash my check and charge the balance, after the discount was figured out) I haven't received any kind of confirmation from them. Do I need to call Eric to confirm?

Markmaz

PS - after considering two tone options (yes, it was me considering the yellow!), I went with Sandstone and perforated centers. Wife is kind of conservative anyway.

I spoke to Eric and he said he was processing the orders (wednesday) and they all should be shipped by the end of next week.

Remember guys, they have to be made! They are all custom. Luckilly they will all be done at the same time. He made no mention of any colors being on back order. If you have any questions, feel free to contact him.

I have not recieved anything in the mail; and I was the first to order.

P.S if you paid by check or MO, it would have to be cleared PRIOR to shipment.

If you want in on the deal - Call Eric (its posted on page 1 of this thread - thanks guys). Though it has closed and is being processed, as we speak, he might let you all in on the deal. NO harm in asking. Try!!!!!

If not, take names of those interested get at least 3 together and do another buy. The savings for just that will compesate for shipping. Get 2 more and the install kit is basically free too. Its an awsome deal, so try to jump on.

I jumped on it at the VERY last minute and I’m glad I made it! I went a little risky by going with black outer / sandstone flat no perf. Inserts. I’ll be redoing most of the interior so it should look pretty nice.

Keith you stated we got it for $560?? My invoice that I was emailed a couple days ago said $577.15 as the starting price. Then it was $35 for the flat centers and $25 for shipping for a total of $640.16. I suppose it’s not really a bid deal, I was just wondering why you guys got a better discount than I did. Thanks!

560$ was what was posted on the website as the discount w/ 15% off. I never asked about EXACT price, but just went by what the website said. The discount is 15% so that I do know.

Chect out the web page- I'll ask Eric what the upcharge was for. Possibly tax or a handling fee; I dunno. But at only 17$, I aint *****in. Maybe the cost of the actual kit has gone up a little but they haven't updated the website. But you know, its a Lexus, so there's an extra tax for that (said sarcastically).

Hell, I was buying reguardless of discount anyway, so I'm not upset. The price is still lower than the couple guys I know off this forum that were in on the deal with me from the begining.

HAH,

Here is what I paid.

1992 Lexus SC300 - Sandstone(1)..679.00...679.00
Perforated inserts.....................(1)....35.00.....35.00
Seat heater/massage...............(2)..179.99...359.98
Shipping........................................28.79 ....28.79
...............................................Total:........1102.77

So 15% off look correct to me.

undefeatedsc3,
Thanks for the info, and you're right. I called Eric this morning and he informed me that the deal on the leather seats was closed.

Seat heater/massage!!?? I wasn't even offered that option! Oh well, I guess if I can continue using my stock heater that's good enough. But it would have been nice on those long drives!!

Evo,

Here you go...

http://www.relaxor.com

It is a complex system that requires some careful planning to install correctly. If you are not detail oriented, forget it. The kit comes as a 8 motor layout. You need to plan where each will go and then cut out a "D" sized battery hole for the motor to seat into the foam. After you get all 8...you need to pull the wires to the brain, wire them up and add power. The corded remote wands are very nice as they are color matched to the tan interior. There are 4 modes, adj speed and power. The heated part of the seats is really handy and get hot quickly. The combination of the two is the greatest after a round of golf.
