I never thought I was going to buy an sc300 until I found this one when looking at used cars. At the time, I knew very little about sc300s, but I went to san jose to look at this car, and It seemed to be in the salvage lot because someone hotwired the car (it looked like) and the wiring under the dash was cut and ripped out.

I didnt realize how awesome of a car I let pass. I put in a $2000 or something like that, and I now realize whoever got it for however much it went for (2500) i think, it a lucky man

I just thought Id post this thread to see if the guy is on this forum and if he has gotten it running. Hopefully it didnt get parted and scrapped :sad

It had a 1j and a few other goodies! For $2500 that seems like a win to me, reagardless of the current body condition.

Don't worry man other sc's will pop up eventually. I am i the bay area too and im still trying to find a nice clean 5spd.

I was just interested to see if anyone on board had bought this car, because I know the person i was bidding against knew what it was worth. Basically, I was surprised to see this thing in a salvage yard with a custom exhaust, 1j swap, a big aluminum racing style radiator, presumably a r154, and more
