Default what brigns me here

I am looking at lexuses cause i really like the sc300 and sc 400, and lexus seems to be a great car, what year sc should i get, and all around what is the better car for the buck

all the SC's are great, but it depends on what you plan to do with it and your wallet size.

if you want a lot of power, find an older manual SC3 if you can and you can either add bolt ons or do a 2jz-gte engine swap.

if you want a cruiser with some decent power, go for the SC400.

If you're concerned with looks, you shouldn't be because you can make a 92 look like a 00 on the outside very easily.

I think you should get at least a 93 SC because it came with passenger side airbag too!

it does, but is you say there is a stock manual on the 92 sc 3?

the reasons i would get this car are im looking for a sporty reliable car, NO EXCPETIONS no autos

yes, there are stock SC300 manuals. BUT ARE VERY RARE!!

They made them from 92-97 I think. You also might want to get an older SC if you plan on doing an engine swap because here in CA, it's illegal to have a car newer than it's engine.

now how much would it cost (parts and labor) to throw a ...6 speed manual into a sc400

It's around $5000 for a new Getrag, and if you come by, I'll throw it in for free. Hell, you dont even have to slow down.
