Default 92 SC 4 pics and question.

Runs as good as it looks. The only thing that does not work is the speedo. After a few weeks it threw a code #29. Sum o2 sensor. I replaced both with NTK, $300 for both.

CEL still comes on sometimes. Cleared codes. What should I do next?

Love the car, love the forum. Could use some help please, I have searched and read all I can about this issue, seeking your advise. Thank you.

Recheck the codes when it reappears, and then go from there. This car has four 02 sensors, two front and two rear. Welcome to SC community.. Drop this thing... NOW!!!

The car has 205,000 miles. One owner. I have known the cars owner for 12 years a Client. I asked for first shot if he would ever sell.

Last year he put over $4000 in full Tune tires, Belts, suspension etc...

He bought his wife a new Caddy and called from the dealer, dealer offered $3000. That's what I paid.

I can not believe how well a 20 year old car with soo many miles runs. Really like a brand new car.

I can live without the speedo for now , but that darn engine lite and trac lite bug the hell out of me.

I am familiar with the obd 1 system. code 29 and 27 = sub o2, after cat emissions crap. I have already spent $300 and I want that lite gone. I know it has nothing to do with performance but I am a bit OCD.

My mechanic friend said to perhaps change the main o2s, but that is not what the code implies, what do any of you all think?

Once the lite is out I will start with some mods. Thanks.
