I have Varrstoens 19 9.5 and 10.5, and this guy wants to trade for his works vs-xx 18 8.5 and 9.5 weak offset rims. whats the cost u think to get them changed to 19s with a steplip and lower offset?

that's gonna cost about 1500+ if you're wanting stepped lip to 19s, not unless you find used barrels/lips for cheap

But on the plus side is that you will be able to chose your own custom wheels size offset. Plus the work wheels are worth more than your wheels.

Go to wheel flip in SoCal and for about 1500 as stated before I want to get my volks done by them they quoted me 800 for the pair just talk to them.

Varrstoens come with a small lip anyways, throw some spacers on for the time being and youll be straight until you can get custom lips and barrels

Breaking down the cost...

Trade for VSXX: ~$1300 +- (18's weak offsets with tires) $1100 rims, $200 tires

Sell the weak 18" lips and barrels... BAM! +$500 to deposit to on the rebuild

IMHO the look of brand new polished+cleared or chromed lips on legit wheels are priceless

I think you should keep the Varrstoens if you're not gonna get a whole lot of money from the VS's. I was thinking the VS's would be worth more and you could sell those to get better wheels.

Hmm replica wheels for some WORKS? 18" VS-XX should be at least 1.5k Faces alone are like $200-300 a piece.
If anything you can just increase the lips to fix the offsets. I was able to change my ssr from 8.5 to 10.5 for about $320 a pair.

Throw your rear (9.5) on the fronts and get 10.5 or 11 in the rear. Keep in mind if you're gonna switch to 10.5 it'll -25mm your current offset. Just run a spacer in the front.

OR you can just get the wheels and go to VR wheels and trade it in for credit it for other wheels they have.

yeah im not sure why your asking, id for sure trade some reps for real works.... like i traded my cheapo 19s for some legit clean *** 18 inch works. id rather have baller wheels with weak offset that reps poked out

I would trade. Call VR wheels or Wheel Flip to see if they already have step lips.
