How is the rear license plate held on?

How is the rear license plate held on?

I cant find any screws that are big enough to fit.
Is there some sort of bracket or something used to hold the rear plate on?

Two screws were all I needed.
I got em free from a guy working at a Shell gas station.

Mine is held on with 2 screws. They are extremely large screws, and I had a lot of trouble getting them off when I went to install a license plate frame. I think they're just really tight in the holes. Gah.
