1999 Sc 300; New to me
#18
I passed up a 2000 SC3 for $6k (pics on post 18) and thought it was at the top of the price range for it, but it had paint work on the quarter panel and I thought it could be in a little better cosmetic shape due to that so I guess if yours is actually clean for 10k and you're happy I'd consider that the absolute top dollar for it.
It's white which is a great color for the SC, and it's a 99 which is a great year........ what's not to like! Enjoy it.

Ive been reading around the forum, Im looking to make it faster. Possibly just new exhaust and a short ram or cold air, nothing crazy. But I have the funds for a 2jzgte swap, or just a turbo on this engine. Any problems with boosting an engine with 105k on it? Ive only owned and worked on naturally aspirated cars in the past, pretty new to the turbo scene. Any advice is appreciated.

10k is a great price for one in that condition. its better to buy one like that for that price then buy a bad one and dump a ton of money into it. and personally i think you should do the 2jz-gte swap man. to my knowledge they can handle alot more then the 1UZ and is likely alot less to build up.

I found engines built with trans from 2k up to 5k, one of the 2k options was from a post on this forum. I forgot the name but I think it was zero lift? Any good/bad feedback on their product?
