I bought my first Lexus a 05 SC430 Pebble Beach Edition this past Feb. Got what I felt was a pretty good deal on a 1 owner 41,000 mile pampered SC - Paid $25,900 with a new battery and 3 sets of floor mats.

I originally bought the car for my one week a month commute to my companies main office in PA (750 miles roundtrip). That said, I do not have the guts to leave the SC430 parked on the street when I am in PA.

So I am now considering adding another SC to the mix. I found a 1999 SC300 at a local dealer, 2 owners clean carfax, not my favorite colors champagne/tan with 115,000 miles Asking price is $7999. When I bought the SC430 I ran it thru the Lexus drivers sight and it had every single service and oil change listed. When I ran this SC300 thru it only was serviced at Lexus up to 30,000 miles. So in theory it could have gone 80,000 miles without a service!

Any and all opinions on this car would be welcome!

Ask that dealer if you can take it to the local Lexus dealer to have an inspection done. If everything checks out, go for it.
