question, did you hook up your touch screen pioneer to the stock sub and amp using the DYI on here or did you use the crutch field plug n' play? trying to decide myself when i buy one in 2 weeks.
clean SC btw, they always look so nice in white.
Thanks! yes, I love the Lexus "timeless" pearl white.
As the HU goes, yes I reviewed the instructions from this forum, but I did do it my own way. For starters, I integrated the stock metal bracket and aftermarket DD plastic bracket. I used a generic Pioneer to Toyota harness for the power and light dimming but spliced my own signal to the stock amps. I also had to use noise isolators for the rear speakers due to excessive engine noise. The sound is a vast improvement over stock and I am able to put on videos to keep the gf entertained on long trips. The only thing I did not get it to work is the antenna. Once it goes up, it will stay up until the engine is off, it will not retract upon switch to DVD or MP3. So I decided to keep it down 100% of the time. I dont listen to radio anyways. I have DVD, SD, iPod, and USB to select from, why bother with antiquated radio.
IIRC the drill pattern/slots and cooling vanes on powerstop rotors face opposite directions. the cooling vanes should look like this:
Oh I see where you got your suspicion from. That is good probable cause. However, you are using StopTech rotors depicting Powerstop rotors. Two completely discrete companies and designs. I am 100% certain that my POWERSTOP rotors are on the correct way. I don't know whether if you had experience with Powerstop or not, but the rotors came factory labeled "Driver side" and "Passenger side".
Here is a shot of my rotors on an IS.
