My 1997 SC300 5-speed
Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, but not new to Lexus ownership. I have owned two 1992 SC400's (one of them being a hardtop), a 1991 LS400 and my current 1997 SC300 5-spd.
I bought my SC300 a few years ago after searching for quite some time for a manual transmission. It's funny that I stumbled upon a 1997 since it is the rarest/last year for the manuals. If my memory serves me correctly, there were only 120 manuals built in 1997. Mine is #000066.
It is still and always will be bone stock except for the ALT rush 17x8 wheels with 245/45/17 Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires. Although I really do admire how SC's look when they are low, living in New England, I just can't justify compromising the exceptional ride quality of this car for the look.
Anyway, here is a picture of my current car.
Does anyone know how much the passenger and driver's seats weigh in a 1997 SC?
