I've grown up in my years, and some things as upsetting as they may be, sometimes are not worth it. I'm the GM of 2 custom leather clothing companies (same owner), a single dad and in school to finish my degree. It just wasn't worth my time or the effort. As busy as I stay, it was not worth the headache or spite. Trust me, there are other ways to get justification...that's as much as I can say
I had the G35 for 4 years loved the car, had the motor built (top and bottom) with bc internals, a one off cog pulley supercharger setup made by vortec with an upgraded T-trim blower, featured in dsport mag (the supercharger setup, not the car). Stoptech front and rear, haltech platinum ecu, dash setup to plug and play with haltech, bunch of other stuff...I had pretty much reached the end....then my motor started having problems, one after the other, car was down for almost 2 years between 2 shops (don't want to get into it) delay, delay, delay, led to me just saying fu*k it and parting out the car...so now the SC project begins....
You can kinda see it in this pic, or at least the mounting point. I don't like the way it was mounted, but it works. Once I go stand alone...that issue will be gone.
So the lugs didn't snap off, which tells me they didn't torque the bolts down at all. Any lawyer or insurance company could tell immediately what the problem is. In this instance, I would have called your insurance company even if you had liability.
dam that sucks hearing about that wheel, karma will get them back ! keep up the good work on your car !
Thank you!

Yea, I already did the temp fender, not the greatest, but it works. Thanks!

A few of the studs were bent. I had to get a pipe and bend them back to get the rim on just to get the car to my house (I was literally 2 blocks from my house).
The attorney in my family is actually an insurance attorney. My cost for the repairs were only $1,200 since my friend owns a body shop. Retail quotes I received from around town were 2K+. Considering the amount of time and $ involved and the likelihood (this is the key) of me actually getting any compensation, regardless of the judgement, even if is in my favor, was little to none, nor worth the few hundred bucks that would be my net compensation...I choose to use that money to continue my project than to risk losing more money. I more than agree this is wrong but you pick and choose your battles in life.
