power steering column problem

my power steering column adjust button is having some problems.
I can adjust in-and-out but cannot adjust up-and-down... anyone heard of this one?

There is a thread about this already. Has to do with the gear cog.

might check your battery/elelctrical.

As a veteran (350K miles), a weak or poorly connected battery has caused that several times for me.
