too large for me, I only like the small vent grills. On a drift car that would work though.

I think I'll put it over the intake and only take it off on nice days. As for the link, I want something that I can close off incase of rain

my friends car:

you can buy the cover for when it rains, this way i dont have to worry about rain or snow. im not sure if id rather put this above the turbo for heat reduction or above the intake for colder air.

Holy crap! That's one cool looking Volvo.

along the ridge of the hood, ontop of the intake filter. it mounts pretty flush, thats why i like it.

I'd go for a blue tarp on rainy days and a vented hood instead of making your hood fit horribly wrong. Then it only looks stupid SOME of the time.

True, but this is best of both worlds. I'm throwing out the lifted hold idea. This is now going to have the vent with the cover

I wonder how much venting this will actually do though, I guess it would be dependent on the pressure zones.

One time I strapped an electric pusher fan to the front of my intercooler, and my car would run great even in the summer heat sitting at lights.
In for pics though want to see what you come up with.

^ i have 3x electric fans. 2x 2500cfm puller fans, and 1x 2000cfm pusher fan in front of the trans cooler which is placed infront of the condenser.

im ordering this tonight, just not sure if ill put it over the intake filter or over the turbo for heat dissipation.

thinking about ordering this soon, cant decide if i want to put it over the intake filter or over the turbo. itll be somewhere on our hood ridge, i think over the turbo would look better. I do notice when its running awhile the outside air seems warm because it pulls air in through the vents below the windshield.
