story: been out f the SC game for a few years now. Lately, I've been on a hunt for a *4 door* vehicle as a daily. For ish and giggles i looked up a few Lexus possibilities and stumbled across a 98 green SC3 with tan(, but spotless) interior.
dealer is asking $12,700... what do you guys think would be a reasonable *dealer* price, with that extensive maintenance records from palm beach, FL Lexus?
I keep telling myself not to go and test drive this thing, b/c i was really looking for a 4 door , but this is a little tempting! I just wish this was a 400...

I do miss my old SC4 quite often....



side note: anybody find the thread with SC's with other OEM Lexus wheels? i thought we had one, i can't seem to find it though...

Very nice SC4 especially the pearl white.
Sounds pretty high of a price even for a 98, but it does have very low mileage.
I just tried to find that thread, but didn't have any luck. ill let you know if I come across it.

If youre gonna finance offer 12, if you're paying cash, then haggle with them lol.

there are a few 99/00's in the houston area with black interior and ~60k miles for about that price range

37k is amazingly low though

I think you should keep looking! I purchased my 99 w/ 60k on it for 12. That was back in 07.

all this is true, but in NY(or in the northeast for that matter), SC's are far and few between... esp in this condition

I'm trying not to want it a lot.

i will, if/when i go... $11k out the door(tax/tags/etc) is what i was thinking

I dont know but I def think the transmission has been changed. That shifter/**** does not look like an 98.. 98 has gated shift with different ****. And the trunk and wing is pre 95, def not 98 trunk too.. I dont know but that car seem stretchy.

I seen lots of ads saying it 98+ just because they did the conversion, but looking for minor details, it is not 98+.
