Default 60k mile service estimate

Here's an estimate that my local dealership sent me for a 60k mile service for my 1997 SC300.

Funny thing is, the $1100 is written in by hand. And just 3 months ago I was quoted $695 from the same exact dealer.

Am I gettin ripped here? Seems like most of the things on the sheet are not even neccessary.

If your local Lex dealer is scalping you, try your friendly neighborhood Toyota dealership. They only charged me about $450 for my 60K service. I guess it's all about the overhead.

does the timing belt really needs to be changed at 60k miles? I could've sworn that's a 90k mile service?

The manual says the belt should be inspected at 60k if there has been hard use on the car. (lots of idling, short trips, etc.) The estimate may just be a worst case estimate from the service dept.
