It is.

My previous car was a 96 Taurus GL (true story). I bought the SC because I wanted the coupe instead of the wagon.

I can see the resemblance between the two. If I'm not mistaken both cars were designed by the Calty design team.

I've seen people mistake SC's for Solaras before.

Sc`s are pretty much blown up honda del sols just with pontiac supercharged v6 engines everyone knows this its in the stickys duh! As far as looking like solaras yes... the interiors are totally interchangeable, and yes u can swap a tranny to make our cars fwd but u have to reverse stagger ur rims and buy vertex fenders...wide in the fronts skinnies in the back...just the way the cookie crumbles guys

Are Camry seats are direct bolt on to sc?? If your answer is no then solara will not fit into sc.
I have up graded my 01 Camry cloths sets to solara leathers back in 2001 and between 2 cars are exactly same.
Mounting of the front n rears seats are same except width of rear seats.
IMO, supra to sc, then Camry to solara to es300.
Anyways this was one of the more funny 3 pages I have read in 2 am. Thanks guys!!

DY3VERSITY, That's a nice SC.

Very cleanly done. Any idea who owns that beast? I really like how he deleted the foglights and side bumper openings. Looks more aggressive that way.
