Also, I saw someone else mentioned putting a turbo on a Solara. Dr. Tweak and I have tossed around the idea of 3SGTE swapping a Solara for a nice daily. (we sometimes get bored at work and think of different swaps to do)

I'm still trying to talk him into letting me put the engine from his IS-F into me SC400......he doesn't seem to excited about that one....I don't know why!

No... Pfff... I've come to the conclusion that alot of you guys just love to bash on people.
He's right, they do look similar, and I've thought it before. Not "identical" but similar-enough.
This is a Solara interior, look at the wood grain along the door ... Same style, just a lil' thinner; in fact the placement of the wood grain is definitely the same. It's a simple stripe, running across the dash & doors.
Even the steering wheel's the same shape.

Secondly, they're both "long" cars/coupes, and they both have that strike-thru design along the outside.
Again, they aren't "identical" but they are similar; he's right.

Hey now, I have a customer who DID put a 2JZ into a 7th Gen Celica (2000+) Just jump on Supraforums and search "Suprica"
