I cant sleep! I GOT THE DEAL OF MY LIFE! PICS
hey guys about a few months back i joined CL because i bought a beater 1993 sc400 for about 1100$ green with grey interior. Decent condition. But i started to see my self making it a hobby to throw money into this car. i mean i already had a g37. but i was so motivated to paint this sc400 black do the whole interior conversion black. But it would cost me about 6K+ to get this car how i wanted it with the 97+ look plus suspension..
But today i was browsing Craigslist and came across a deal i didint let go!..
2000 Lexus SC300
Black
Black interior
Clean 124k miles
RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECT!
only problem is the front driver side caliper was seized. I got a new caliper for 60$ at pepboys and it should be fixed tomorrow. and the car was in a accident back in 2002. But nothing major.
All together i got the car for $2800
it was a old guy at some dealer ship. he didnt know what he had. It was a gold mine.
i will get more pics up as soon as i get it cleaned up. lemme know what you guys think.

Nobody at a dealership "doesn't know what they had". Don't fool yourself there. Hopefully there won't be gremlins pop up like a bad head gasket that was filled with good to hold it over or sawdust pouring out of the rear end, or brake fluid all in the transmission expanding the bands until it pops. Who knows. All you can hope is that it's all good and you get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

I agree with OLT and 97-SC300.
Any used car lot in florida knows what a SC300 is and will mark up one appropriately.
You may have bought a salvage titled car, and at that year by state law they dont have to disclose it to you.
I can understand a private sale or a freind selling you a car for that price, but a dealer lot...I have my suspicions
Where was this car in florida?
