Default sc300 instrument cluster

I got a 1998 Lexus SC300 and was wondering if anyone can give me some tips before I just dive into taking my instrument cluster apart. The plastic is really filthy behind it and I'd like to give it a good once over. Much appreciated for help!

There are two screws up on top of the cluster cover covered by a couple of plastic covers. Pull the covers off and remove the two screws. Pull off the lower trim that has the time adjustment on it. I could just pull mine off with my hands. Next you will remove two bolts that will bring the cluster loose. Make sure you adjust your steering wheel low and extended. pull out your cluster. Unplug the 3 connections on the rear. They may be had to get out. Be patient and don't pull so that wires don't get damaged. once the 3 connectors are loose, you should be able to remove your cluster from your car. your will see tabs/screws on the outer edge that will let you separate the lens from the cluster. at this point you should be able to clean all you want. Careful not to mess with the needles.

Hope that helps.
