the red car had all the trim removed for painting of the car , had the trim stripped , sanded primed painted flat black with alittle flex added into a satin clearcoat ,, should last years
I'm going to gold mine out soon to match my emblems and exhaust tips. Found a mixture of translucent candy paints that turn chrome to gold! I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done with it.

I Plasti-Dipped the wifes car cuz the black paint was chipping. Quick fix that turned out looking a lot better than I expected. It came out good enough that I dipped the emblems on my SC
My buddy 2.5tsoarer used to sell them since he owns a vinyl/graphic store in Tampa. He also used to sell them on Ebay but not sure if its still on there or not I think now plasti-dip is the easiest way to go when it comes to this task but I've had my vinyl on for years with no problem at all.
