My black '96 sc300 actually came with them blacked out. Not sure if it was from the factory or a previous owner did it lol.

plastidip ftw, my cuz did it on his dwp sc and it looks awsome,might have to tackle this soon on my dwp

plastidip ftw I did the rear windows first, i liked it so much I did the trim panel and the mirror cover

Just tape

One thing i learned on the rear windows, tape it up well, spray multiple light coats in quick succession and unmask it while its wet, otherwise the spray will bond with the tape the same as the trim, and can peel off.
I know thats the awesome part about plastidip, that it peels off easily, but it can be a pita to unmask without peeling the intended part

I really wanted black trim because i am installing visors that cover the upper door part and to me it looks stupid with 3/4 of the trim chromed and then the visor blocking the rest

Like six bucks a can or you can buy the kit online for around$400. The coolest part is that if you get any overspray anything, it'll come right off without damaging anything. Part of the fun is peeling off all the excess lol
