Who knows? Maybe he wanted that two-toned look. The edge stitch part retained to darker tan color.

 

Saw that on eBay the other day too... At least he has the contrasting piping on the seats to try and make it look good.

 

That seems to be a little too white for me.
It does look good with the matching piping though. I sold a $355,000.00 motorhome that came in this past week and has different color leather on the driver & passenger seats , and the two couches than the dash but matching piping to the dash and side trim. Looks very sharp.

I didn't see a plasma tv in that lex though!
