Default want to make my own diffuser

So i would like to make my own diffuser so the rear will not look as plain how it is currently

i say if you want to make a proper, functional diffuser go for it, otherwise it will look like a wanna-be or ricer.

if your willing to do the work; to make the diffuser more functional you could cout out the spare well and put in a flat plate to fill in the hole. this would allow for a more shallow and thus more effective exit angle. on that note if your going to go that far you'd probably be willing to cut a section out of the bumper to let the diffuer exit higher

good drawing man only if it was clearer where did you get the idea from let me know thanks....not to crazy about the idea of cutting out my spare tire well underneath the car kind of worried

well, firstly the idea came from months of day-dreaming. I understand your woes on the cutting of the spare tire well. its a bit of a far cry but my idea is for an all out approach to aerodynamics.

will probably have 4 or 5 6 fins and an led bar in the middle my car needs more low

bump just need some advice on what material to use to make it that its functional i don't think sheet metal would be good

I helped my buddy make one for his 300zx. pretty much just traced the underside with cardboard and then paint the outlined cardboard with fiberglass resin and screwed it on. you can throw some truck bed liner on it for strength.
