hey guys im new to the lexus scenario lol, use to own a srt4,ctsv, but besides that.....

i just bought a sc300 with a 1jz and r514 5 speed tranny with act 6 puck. i got it 1 and a half week ago recently for the past 2 days my cluster wont turn off wen i turn off the car it would stay on. i got a clifford matrix alarm system, idk what the problem is,even the lights would stay on sometimes when i turn them off.

 

sometimes it turn off and sometimes it dont and randomly turns on too, recently changed the alternator and put a new battery.

 

Recheck the wiring that is hooked up to the alarm?

 

Ok it would have to be with the alarm?

 

I vote alarm to its delaying the door switch or not recognizing it cluster and heads lights shut off when you open the door

 

Yeah when keyed off,the cluster stay on with all the window button lights on ect and sometimes headlights. How should I approach this.

 

did you have the alarm installed? if so i would say take it to the shop that wired it up and have them fix it.

 

Ok. Well I bought the car from Somone who already had it installed. Ill take it to my local jl audio shop. Need my double din installed anyways. I'm pretty sure it's the alarm

 

yeah get it checked out becuase who ever installed probably tapped into the wrong wires

 

ok kool, other than that.. love my car my plans are... respray over in red or black (currently gold), put in a nice jl audio system. 6262 precision turbo with aem standalone and fuel upgrade

Keep it gold. Done right they are fantastic. Most people just don't have enough creativity to do it any other way than standard black on black. Search for Manaray's car for inspiration.

 

yea man keep it gold, when u change color the car loses value also.
