So, I've been driving my baby white pearl 92 sc 400 around for a week now (got it last Sunday) and I'm getting a lot of looks from people, it's crazy. You guys too? I see people trying to figure out what car it is. I just washed my baby on the driveway today, and when I looked up, 2 of my neighbors were watching me clean the car - lol.
The car I picked up only has 61000 original miles (100% clean carfax) and is in excellent condition in and out. The person who had it before me was an older rich gentleman who kept the car garaged and in prestine condition. I got lucky!
I just wanted to share my excitement with you guys! I'll post up pics at a later date.
Oh also, I was reading about leather care and they say that sunlight is leather's worst enemy. I am using a sun shade for my windshield. However, being very nit-picky, what about the sunlight that is coming in from the side and back windows? (I know, I'm crazy) I also read that in the summer, one should crack the windows open a little to relieve heat from inside the car. I'm from NY, so it's not like we have hot days throughout the year. Fellow NY'ers know what I mean.
What leather care do you guys use? Do you condition the leather? If so, how often? Let me know!![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I can't garage the car as my garage is pretty much used as a storage area.
Thanks and as mentioned earlier, I wil post up pics soon!

I get tons of looks in my SC. It's crazy how much attention it gets.
As far as leather care, I've heard that Leatherique is supposed to be really good but I haven't used it myself. I'd recommend getting ceramic window tint all around to help with heat and to protect the leather.

A hot blonde in an SC400 would work for me, okay even brunette or dark hair for that matter.
The car is tinted but I'm not sure if it's ceramic tint. The tint laws in NY are also ridiculous. You can't really tint it much darker beyond factory tint.
I'll read further into leather care products.

The first week I owned my car, I got three compliments. The first day I drove it to work, I parked next to the smoking section, and this guy was mean muggin hard, ended up coming up to me, and was like "Dayyum son that's a nice *** whip you got there, how could YOU afford a Lexus" (was 20 at the time) my response was "Uhhh I work here with you making adult money" haha and walked away. Probably one of the funniest compliments I've gotten.

Leatherique is magic stuff. If your leather is cracked or torn or the diy is worn off in places, Leatherique prestine clean and rejuvenator won't do you much good. It's a good product for dirty leather that is in good condition, not for leather that is in condition beyond what a cleaner can correct.
