Default Interior trim removal

I have the common split on the trim piece where your arm rest when the window is down. How do you remove it to recover it? Gently pry it out? Take the inside of the door off?

TIA

if your talking about the trim peice that goes around the window u will have to take the door panel off to remove i think 4 screws that hold that ring on. please be very careful in removing the door panel.

theres screws along the bottom of the door panel where the door handle is on the inside of the door remove the plastic peice by the lock and then i think 2 long screws where the door arm rest is where u would pull to shut your door. i belive thats it.. anyone else can chime in and add or wht not to this but pretty much most of it.

Follow this DIY steps https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...tml#post802171
and buy a fiberglass kit at the auto store because you are going to have broken plastic tabs that held the screws on the door panel and window trim. Take your time/be careful durning the removal process.

Not yet. I'll post after I do. I'm thinking if I have to take the door panel off I might go ahead and replace some other items.

Live in Charlotte. New to the forum. Bought a 93 SC400 last Tuesday and the transport truck is suppose to deliver the car next Thursday.

Use to own a 1997 8 series BMW. Love messing with cars and participating in the forums. Really looking forward to working on the SC.
