Default ClassY's '91 Soarer

Hello CL!

I suppose I'll start with a little bit about myself. My name is Jon, born and raised in Lethbridge Alberta Canada. I've always been interested in JDM cars and drifting and what not. My first car was a CB7 Accord, which I drove for about 2 years. Never had an issue with it, never had anything break.

When the time came to buy myself something nicer, I mainly looked for Skylines and Silvias. I looked for a solid 3 months, slowly expanding to Aristos, 86's, MK3 Supra's, anything RHD and RWD.

I happened to come across a '91 Soarer in my price range, which I couldn't pass up. 179k kms, clean interior, automatic, turbo back straight piped exhaust and intake, Vertex style side skirts and rear bumper, brand new tires, and decent paint.

This is how she looked when I picked her up June.

The first month was spent replacing the windshield, solving the warm start stalling issue, installing my sound system and learning more about I had gotten myself into XD. I've been lurking CL since I got the car, and am thankful for the time you guys have spent making DIYs and such

Fast forward to the present. I picked up some 17" Weds from my buddy (Who also has a Soarer) until I can afford some Works or something. I recently installed 6000k HIDs, and have a racing wheel on it's way.

Here's how she's sitting now.

She'll likely sit like this until after winter because I'm apprenticing in Heavy Duty Mechanics and I go to school in January. My plans for after winter (daily driven/winter driven) include fixing the rust, repaint, Vertex body kit, wheels and coilovers.

This is my first "project", so I'm taking it slow and keeping it simple.

-Keep it classy

I don't think I have any decent interior pictures. I'll get a few sometime soon.

There's a cracked vent, and the climate control display is blacked out, but otherwise it's in excellent condition.

Yeah that's what I've read. Neither bother me so they'll probably never get fixed.

I LOVE the Okanagan! If I move away from AB, it will be to Kelowna or Penticton.

I have a buddy who plays for the Okanagan Sun too

@Everyone else, thanks for the warm welcome!

Just a bit of an update.

My turbos blew.

I also got my '95-'96 tail lights in the mail. If anyone knows where I can find '95-'96 tail light harness, it would a huge help.
