Default SC400 rust repair and repaint

Stripped my SC400 and dropped it off at the body shop to get the right rear quarter replace and the dents and scratches repaired. When thats done they are repainting the car it's original colour.
Here is some before pics. I'll post pics when it's done.

If you don't mind me asking, how much are the charging you to do the repair and paint?
I don't want to admit how much I am into my repair/paint and I am doing it all myself, at times I think it would have been easier and more cost effective to have a shop do it lol.

Thanks,
Rick

The worst was on the right rear quarter and some on the right front fender. In the pictures you can see I had already put the front fender on after the body shop prepped it for me. The rear quarter had been bondo'ed at one time and was coming off in a large patch in front of the wheel. The car had small dings and dents all over as well.

Toytech, as others have stated that's a really thorough way of painting car parts. I was taught this same technique while stationed in Germany, by a Master Paint Tech...it's time consuming and expensive, but I guarantee you'll be forever impressed with the finished results! Keep us posted, and thanks for sharing!

Actually I and a friend, who owns his own auto glass business, removed the glass. It helps to be in the auto business to help keep costs down.

What type of paint you using. I am about to paint my car with some ultra 7000 waterbase. I like the way it lays down better.

I do not know what paint the body shop is using, I'll ask them the next time I talk to them.

Got my car back from the body shop. I did not ask what brand of paint they used, but it was water based and cost $1800.00 ($275 a pint) for it. The whole restoration cost $10,800 so far. I have a lot of work to do this spring putting it back together.
